FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
After 25 Years of Using Financial Models to Evaluate Deals, Serial Entrepreneur Ron Achs Makes His Tools Available to Website Developers.
Cash-Flow-Model.com formally launches its Website Developer financial model, bringing decades of operating and due diligence experience to people building digital businesses.
Chicago, IL — October 6, 2026 — Ronald Achs didn’t start out as a website developer. Ron is a longtime commodity trader, oil and gas investor, and a 5,300+ acre farm and ranch owner who began developing financial models approximately 25 years ago to help objectively answer a practical question: What happens to my money if I do this, or should I pass on the deal? If I buy it, how can I make it work? #414CEC
Those models served him through acquisitions, start-ups, ongoing operations, and in all kinds of funding discussions from $100K to $100M+. They also helped him recognize when the numbers didn’t support an opportunity before he committed the money. Today, through PRODUITS DE L’ÉQUIPE LLC, Achs is announcing the formal launch of the Website Developer financial model at Cash-Flow-Model.com, making that experience available to others building a business online.
“Those financial models served me wonderfully, and they saved me countless times,” said Achs, Founder and Chief Executive of PRODUITS DE L’ÉQUIPE LLC. “An opportunity can sound terrific. You can be excited about it. But you still need to sit down and work through what it costs, when the money comes in, and whether you have enough cash to get there — and stay there. That’s where I’ve always started.”
Achs later learned to code while building Oil-Royalties.com, Working-Interest.com, and the PRODUITS websites. The due diligence work, technology, and construction behind those platforms became the genesis of Cash-Flow-Model.com. Building the websites also gave him a new set of operating questions to examine: subscription pricing, customer growth, cancellations, marketing, technology costs, staffing, AI, and how to fund the business while all those pieces came together.
“I know math. Learning to code came later,” Achs said. “As I built my own websites, I used the financial models to think through the business behind them. I’ve seen dozens of deals — many presented without organized financials — so I figured other people building websites, or whatever business, could benefit from the same tools. You may know exactly what you want to build, but putting the financial picture together can help you explain it to someone else — especially to bankers, hedge fund managers, lenders, and investors. You may even understand it better yourself.”
The Website Developer model lets users enter Revenue, Expenses, Assets, Funding, and other general and industry Assumptions to produce an 84-month set of forward-looking projections, and fully integrated GAAP-compliant financial statements. The completed schedules can be viewed, downloaded, and printed for review or discussion with bankers, investors, lenders, partners, and advisers.
Through unlimited “what if” capabilities, a developer can test their subscription price, change the expected rate of customer growth, add an employee, scale vendor costs, adjust marketing expenses, or compare financing terms. Then generate the schedules again and see what changed. How much money is needed and when? What is my projected ending bank balance from month to month? When might the operation support itself? What happens if subscriber signups slow? How else can I drive revenue?
The financial model also gives the developer something useful after launch: a budget and operating plan, or a benchmark, against which to compare actual results.
“I’ve sat across the table from bankers and investors myself,” Achs continued. “Having a dynamic model that organizes and presents the numbers makes for a much better conversation — I call it my ’no bullshit rule’. If someone questions an assumption, you can change it on the spot and look at the result together. My hope is to help other developers turn opportunities they’re excited about into an objective plan they can understand, explain, and work from.”
Users supply the assumptions, the financial model performs the calculations, and the decisions remain theirs. Projections show what may happen under those assumptions; they do not guarantee an outcome.
